How often will I receive texts?
The idea is to send pertinent weather alerts to your phone. This amount of texts will be dependant on the weather. There may be days several texts are sent, or a whole week of calm weather when you receive no alerts.
What types of weather will I get notified about?
My philosophy is that you should receive alerts for pertinent or impactful weather. This includes things like thunderstorms, flooding, snow, tropical systems and much more. If the weather is going to impact your day or your commute, you will receive an alert!
How can I unsubscribe?
To unsubscribe, you need to navigate to manage subscription on this site. You can cancel your subscription in Manage Subscription . Simply texting "STOP" to end will only pause you from receiving the messages on your phone, but not unsubscribe you from payment.
Can I select more than one city/town?
In order to provide the best alert system possible, a single location within Western or Central CT is required.
